The “Back, Sack and Crack” Survival Guide

Back. Sack. Crack. The three areas most men want sorted and least want to discuss. So let us discuss it plainly, because the not-knowing is the worst part.

This is what actually happens. No euphemism.

What the treatment covers

A full Back, Sack and Crack removes hair from the back, the pubic region, the penis, the scrotum, and the internal crack. Front to back. Total removal. From £55.

If you only want part of it done, you can. The Speedo Line keeps things outside the pant line from £20. Penis and scrotum on their own is from £30. The Full Intimate, which adds the buttocks, is from £80. Your therapist will talk you through the menu before anything happens.

How long should the hair be?

About the length of a grain of rice. Roughly a quarter of an inch.

If you shave, leave it two to three weeks before your appointment. Wax needs something to grip. Too short and it cannot lift the hair. Too long is rarely a problem because we can trim on the day.

Does it hurt?

Yes, a bit. We are not going to pretend otherwise. But less than you are imagining right now.

We use hot wax for intimate areas, not strip wax. Hot wax shrink-wraps the hair and lifts it from the root without dragging the skin. It is built for thick male hair and delicate skin. The first pull is the one your brain has built up for days. After that your body settles and it becomes manageable.

The back is done with strip wax. Broader area, tougher skin, faster coverage. Most men find the back the easiest part.

What happens in the room

You arrive. You meet your male therapist. You go into a private room and the door closes. One client per room, always.

You strip from the waist down. The therapist positions you, applies wax in sections, and works through methodically. For the crack you will be asked to hold a position that gives access. It is clinical and quick. Your therapist has done it hundreds of times this month alone.

A full Back, Sack and Crack takes about 45 minutes.

The hygiene, because you are wondering

No double-dipping. One spatula, one dip, then it is gone. A fresh one comes out for the next pass. The room is sanitised between every client. Fresh couch roll, clean surfaces, sealed product.

This is the question every new client wants to ask and most are too polite to. So we answer it up front.

Will I get aroused?

It is the fear every man arrives with. In practice, no. The room is bright, the pace is brisk, and a small amount of discomfort tends to keep the body very focused on something else. Your therapist has seen every version of this and thinks nothing of it. There is zero judgment in the room.

Afterwards

You walk out smooth. The skin may be pink for a few hours. We send you home with an aftercare card and the headline rules. Keep it clean, avoid heat and friction for 24 to 48 hours, and do not pick. Full detail is in our aftercare guide.

To stay smooth, rebook around every four to six weeks. Regrowth comes back softer and sparser over time.
